Michael Robinson fell in love with photography during a trip to Europe at the age of sixteen. While photographing some of the oldest and most historic buildings in the world, Michael discovered his life's ambition. A few years later, he began his education at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. Michael graduated cum laude from Brooks in 2003 with a B.A. in Professional Photography and a major in Commercial Advertising.
Among the honors he received was the Departmental Award for Commercial Advertising.Michael spent the first two years of his career as a freelance photographer in Chicago, working with architects, interior designers, furniture designers and professionals in the hospitality industry. Michael then returned to his hometown of Kansas City, where he now resides with his dog, Sydney. Michael continues to work with extremely talented professionals in the design and hospitality industries, not just in Kansas City and Chicago, but around the globe.
